Mathematical Structures in 3D and Virtual Reality
Finite algebraic structures give rise to lattices and other partially ordered sets that can be difficult to understand from a two-dimensional drawing. This project uses interactive three-dimensional models to explore their organization.
We developed JavaScript visualizations using Babylon.js for exploration in a browser, with virtual-reality support in the original project. Examples include hypercubes and lattices of preorders.
